If you are in a position of power does not guaranteer happiness. Sometimes you are in a bad positions of power where you might have to hurt someone to be able to move forward. For example, in The Lunar Chronicles by Marisa Meyer, there is an evil Queen named Levana. Queen Levana does terrible things for her country and isn't happy. She isn't happy because she has had an awful childhood of abuse and her husband has died. She wants to find love again, but to be queen she thinks she can not have love since it will be a weakness.
Everyone is capable of lying, betrayal, and violence, which are basic parts of human nature. It is apart of us being human but some just take it a little too far. Some humans give little white lies or act out poorly. Other humans murder and steal which is way too far. I think some humans couldn't be violent but I also think other humans could be depending on their personality.
I like how you stated how much you agreed or disagreed with all of the statements. I also liked how you gave an example from a book and you did a great job backing up your claims.
