My ninth grade year has been a hard but successful year. My writing has grown so much since the beginning of the year and I am now more confident in my writing. The personal narrative was one of the first papers of the year that I am proud of. I am proud of that I was able to show my story in a different way. I am thankful that I could show one of my passions that I love so much.
Another piece of writing that I am proud of is my research paper. I spent such a long time on that researching, brain storming, and writing. I loved how I connected dance with history which made me want to work on my project. My research paper is definitely my best paper so far. The hardest piece of writing had to be the literary analysis paper on The Lord of the Flies. It was hard trying to connect my thesis to my paper. I struggled with writing in quotes but I now have learned more about them.
